ADMIN - RECORD LAYOUT VIEW

Question

I am adding a new view to the account record. The account record has two columns. When I go to Studio-Accounts-Layout-Record View, it shows only 1 column in one system. When I look at the test system, it will show two columns. Is there a view setting that got switched to one column instead of two columns when in studio. This happens for the other modules also.

It is defined in the respective viewdefs at the attribute 'columns' of a given panel. 
 By default all panels display 2 columns, but you are free to modify it as you wish. That change will affect how that view is rendered on Studio and for users as well. 
 The same viewdefs may have specific set of columns for each panel within.
