Marketing Reports

Hello,

We recently introduced Sugar Market and Sugar Sell to our marketing and sales team.

I was wondering - how well the integration is working for you? I am currently experiencing main issue around campaigns and reporting.

It seems that campaigns in SugarCRM captured per email, rather than per a whole campaign - is that right? How do you report on campaigns, ROI, conversion rates etc?

Thanks!

  • Hi, Ada.

To capture better marketing metrics between Sugar Market and Sugar Sell we recommend switching on the Push sync from Market for the following options:

Push Web Activity, Push Sent Email, Push Email Opens, Push Email Clicks, Push Email Statistics to Campaigns and Campaign Targets, Push Form Completion Data and Push Event Data

Marketing data is pushed into corresponding modules inside Sell which allows Sell users to create reports combining Market and Sell data. For example, you can create reports showing any marketing interactions over a given time period and who are owned by a particular salesperson. This can help the salesperson see which of their leads are currently active and engaged.

ROI reporting will require customization of marketing assets if you want to associate all activity to a particular source. For example, utm parameters may be needed on email links so the parameters can be passed to Sell for reporting. Forms can have hidden fields that can have a corresponding source and the same can apply for event registrations. By passing the parameters to Sell, the data is then reportable and you can show interactions for a particular source.
