Using SugarCRM for fundraising management?

Our charity would like to use our existing SugarCRM to manage fundraising. We already use a small part of the sales functionality to manage selling our online learning modules, but are wondering whether other Sugar clients have found this to be a useful tool for managing donors, tracking targets etc. Thank you!

    We are confident that our developers can make any changes or customisations needed, I'm really interested in whether other charities have done this and how it has worked for them.

    Oh, actually, I meant Sugar Partners can provide CRM consultants that could help to configure a business model in Sugar - prior to the developers would take the stage - moreover, due to rich no-code Sugar platform configuring capabilities, developers might not be needed either.
    My suggestion is to let experienced Sugar consultants spend up to a day studying your processes then preconfigure an example to show on Sugar demo instance - on the basis of articulated expectations.

    We, in Integros, do not bill such efforts.

    In terms of success stories - I'd suggest reaching out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) about examples too - the vendor might be in a position to go through their subscribers base and might find some good references.
