Recently I created a really large nurture campaign in Sugar Market. It ended up being about 12 emails about hand sanitizer's many uses. For example: Give your phone’s screen a shine, or, clean your glasses or sunglasses AND erase “permanent” markers from whiteboards. Who knew?
But for serious...I did create a very large campaign, and after a few days, I decided I wanted to add four more emails before the first email. I had to do some testing on how best to do this - as I wasn't aware of a way to add steps to a campaign before another step (I think .you can only add steps after).
I figured it out and I just wanted to share my fix! Turns out, you can easily combine campaigns to function as one campaign with a simple jump step.
Essentially what I did was create a new "pre-campaign" which was a four-step campaign that then jumps to the original 12 step campaign. I added a jump step that just said: Jump to the original campaign. Then, the campaigns could be combined, and that was that. Pretty cool!
