How to override export to word feature in custom reports

Hi,

We are using a custom report to display data in tabular form , We need that all data to be export as a word file as well.

I am using normal php method to export the data but it's showing the css, js files missing errors and not displaying proper html format after exported the word file.

Please help me to find out any way to achieve the export to word functionality in custom module without using any third party library.

Hi Gurpreet Singh ,

why don't you use the DocMerge option to generate a word document instead of a report ?

Is it because your report is not based on one specific record but many of them ?

Yes, We are creating custom report to get data from multiple modules , We did it through custom script and list out the data in table , To further use that data into editable format we have to export in word doc.
