User Module not available in SugarBPM / Process Definitions?

Hi,

im really shocked 'cause it seems, that the user module is not available in SugarBPM. My idea was: Sending a Mail to the user where a specific field value is set or changed.

For example:

If the user field is "active" an email will be send to this user. How could that be possible without using the SugarBPM? Can I activate the module for process definitions?

Kind regards from Berlin

  • Hi,

I received an interesting feedback from support that helped me to activate the module for the BPM:

The Users/Employees module is blocked from Advanced Workflows by the static array $targetBlacklistedModules in the modules/pmse_Inbox/engine/PMSEEngineUtils.php file.

This functionality is currently not available in the application. I have created and linked your case to the Idea #82743 to have the option to Enable Users to be the Target Module in Advanced Workflows (SugarBPM)

I adjusted the file and after a repair the users module was unlocked. But now I would like to make the customization upgrade safe and integrate it into the custom folder, let's see if I succeed.

    Kind regards
