Hi,
we have added an action button via Studio in the purchased line items module and configured it to copy the record. When the button is clicked, a copy of the record should be created automatically with all previous values AND the parent relationship (in this case the renewal_opp). Accordingly, no create popup should appear.
The copy works, but the relationship to the renewal opp is NOT set as expected, the field remains empty. If, on the other hand, the checkbox for the automatic creation of records is deactivated in the configuration of the action button and the Create popup appears, the relationship is pre-filled and can be saved.
How can we make this Quick Copy function work via the action button so that the relationship to the renewal opp is reliably set even without the Create Popup?
We use Sugar 12.0.3 ENT On Premise.
What are the alternative solutions if we want to provide a copy function in a subpanel dropdwon? I am a little perplexed why this does not work with the board means?
