module compatibility between sugarcrm 7.8 and sugarcrm 12

Hello, I am using sugarcrm 7.8 in which I created modules.
I am switching to sugarcrm 12.
My question is to know if there would be compatibility issues if I port modules from 7.8 to 12. ?
