Non Admin users are not able to access custom module

Hi,

I have few custom modules in Sugar Professional 6.5. However, only one custom module is not accessible for non admin user although their roles have access for the same.

I have tried below:

1. Repaired Roles

2. Reset User Preferences

But still non admin users cant access particular custom module. System gives message "You do not have access to this area. Contact your site administrator to obtain access."

What else can be done to resolve the issue?

    Hello

    Their are two possibility as per your description

    1) Verify user has correct role for that module.

    2) Do you have any customization for that module ? You may also check controller and view.list.php. It may have some custom code written to restrict user.

    Mayuri,

    If you remove all roles from one of the non-admin users, are they able to then view the custom module?  I am wondering if the non-admin users belong to multiple roles where one of the roles are restricting that custom module.

    Urdhva Tech, thanks for replying. Yes user has correct role. I have already checked controller and view.list.php and view.edit.php but there is no custom code.

    Hi Lori, thanks for your reply. Users belongs to single role so there is no issue of role overriding. However, I tried removing role from one of the user but still the issue remains same.

    Any other suggestions ?

    Have you tried like creating new non-admin user and able to access that module?

    Issue has been found. There is a duplication of module with the same module/key name.
