This package does not contain a manifest

Hi, I am trying to deploy a custom module. My module zip contains 2 files : manifest.php and custom.less

I'm trying to deply on a On-demand instance version : Enterprise 7.5.2.3

The module load fine, but when I click commit to install, I have this error message : This package does not contain a manifest

Log indicate : Fri Nov 13 15:19:40 2015 [17743][1][FATAL] ERROR: rmdir_recursive(): argument cache/upgrades/temp/xLpBqi is not a file or a dir.

I found some posts saying that it can be a permissions issue. However, I assume on-demand permissions are ok.

My package load fine on a 6.5 CE used for dev.

    Hi Jonathan,

    I verified the environment settings in your On-Demand instance, so please try again to upload the package. If it still doesn't work I think in this case it is best to raise that as a case with support to provide the package and check directly with the instance why the installation is failing with one of the support engineers.

    Hi Dennis,

    the instance is not the one linked with my email, but for a customer of mine.

    Can I send you a private message with the correct on-demand URL or should I create a case ?

    Hi Jonathan,

    Oh ok I see, yes in that case it would be best to create a support case to have a support engineer assist directly.

    Once solved we can share root cause in the community in the end in case someone else comes across this.

    Ok to conclude this post. We created a support case. Our instance was verified by support and upgraded to 7.6.1 (from 7.5.3).

    It's working now.
