search with single quote

I've got a case name with the last name O'Connor.  Using search function, can't find it.  (it of course escapes it to o\'connor after I enter it)  Obviously a bug in last version of CE.  Any quick fix?

    Not exactly what you want, but a workaround would be to search %connor%...

    Hello Jeff,

    I tested Sugar 6.5.22 Community Edition, where I created a new Contact record "Michael O'Connor".

    When I search using Global Search (in the upper right-hand corner of the page), the Contact is returned as a result.  When I search using Contacts list view > Advanced Search > Last Name > o'connor, the Contact is returned as a result.  When I search using Contacts list view > Basic Search > Name > o'connor, the Contact is returned as a result.

    Can you shed some additional light on how you're performing the search that yields no results?
