Sugar Discover - Updated 15 April 2024

What's new in Sugar Discover?

Sugar Discover 17.0 has been deployed as of April 15, 2024, and includes the following updates:

  • Filter metric aggregations: You can now filter string and date fields by an aggregated metric so you can, for example, show only accounts that have a sum of likely revenue that exceeds a certain amount.
  • Trend line on column or stacked column visualization: Understand trends in your data by adding a least squares linear regression trend line to a column or stacked column visualization.
  • Anchor date fields to a day: You can now anchor a relative date filter to a previous day of the week (e.g., last Friday) so that the report's period remains static for an entire week, allowing you to have a report that always shows the previous week.
  • Dynamic Y-axis minimum: To improve the readability of a Forecast Changes report, enable the Dynamic Y-Axis Minimum checkbox on the Formatting Panel to adjust the Y-axis minimum so that the Start and End columns occupy no more than ⅓ of the screen.
  • End report at current date with date slicer: When using a date slicer with the "Current and Previous" option you can now choose to include only the partial current fiscal week/month/quarter/year in your report so that the report period ends at the current date.
  • Define granularity for TOTAL function: Specify a field from your report in the TOTAL function to sum the number field over.
  • Refresh results clears the report cache: When clicking the Refresh button in the top right corner of the visualization, the cache is now cleared so you can see the latest data on your report more quickly.
