Nurture that updates contact date field

Hi SugarClubbers,

I've got a nuture (2.0) and I want it to update a contact field which is a date field, is there anyway that the date set is the "now" date of when the contact passes through the nurture?

The idea is that so that the date would be dynamic based on the date the contact passes through the nurture.

If that's not possible what could be another way of updating a date field to the current date.

    Tagging along here - I'd love to see the ability to use merge tags for dates as fields we could use for Nurture campaigns. It would help me a ton for routing purposes both to establish the date an event happened and then being able to key off that date for a nurture branch. 

    EX. User requested a downloadable assets on ++Today++ and then if they do it again I can have the nurture check for the date within ++Last90Days++ and route from there.
