Add "start date" field to CRM for Positions with Rarionale

I work with Schools and 501c3 organizations. I think this would be a great idea and here is why:

This email proposes adding a "Start Date" field to the CRM for each position within our organization.

Rationale:

    • Correlate employee performance with tenure for targeted training and development.

    • Streamline onboarding by ensuring all relevant departments are aware of new employee start dates.
    • Improve project planning by accurately allocating resources based on staff availability.
    • Enable generation of reports on employee turnover, hiring trends, and other key metrics.
  • Increased Data Integrity:
    • Minimize data entry errors related to employee start dates.
    • Ensure consistent and accurate data across all systems.
  • Legal and Compliance:
    • Meet legal requirements for accurate employee employment date records.

Implementation Considerations:
