Form Sync Time

Hello, We are seeing varying lag times for records syncing to the CRM from form fillouts and when when we get notification emails. How is that sync time determined? Is there a standard sync time from when someone submits a form, to when an email notification is sent, to when it's pushed to the CRM if the toggle is on? Does it differ if the email alert is set up in the form alert versus the form rule?

  • Hi  ,

When a user submits a form, Sugar Market captures the data quickly—logging the submission, updating the record in Sugar Market’s CRM, and sending out the form alert. In most cases, this happens within a few minutes.

When it comes to pushing the record to the external CRM, the timing can vary. For new contact or lead records, it can take up to 10 minutes to sync. For existing records, the sync is generally faster, since we prioritize time-sensitive updates. You can find more detail about sync timing in our integration documentation here:

    https://support.sugarcrm.com/documentation/market/sugar_market_integrations_guide/general_crm/#Sync_Process_Steps_and_Schedule

Other factors can also affect timing—for example, if a large campaign is actively syncing data to the CRM, that processing load can delay how quickly new form submissions are pushed.

Hopefully this helps explain why form alert emails may come through quickly, while updates to the CRM may take a bit longer due to the sync process. Let us know if you have any follow-up questions!
