Conditional Fields in Forms - Dropdowns only?

Hello, I am looking to set up some conditional fields in some of our forms and I think I have gathered that the logic can only be set up with questions that are created with the drop down field. Is this correct?

I understand it would probably be hard to set this up single/multi-line text boxes and other fields where the exact output would change. But if it was compatible with the radio button or a checkbox  fields that would also be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

  • Hello Jessica,

Conditional logic is only available with dropdown fields in Sugar Market at this time.

There is an Idea to support conditional logic with radio button and checkbox fields in the Form Builder:

  • Thanks, Lynn! Another thing that came to mind was the ability to include a referral link in a form. In our old forms on our website, we were able to include a hidden field that would pull in the URL for the past they last visited (if applicable). Does Sugar Forms have this capability for hidden fields and/or to include a page referral link automatically? Thanks in advance!

  • Hello Jessica,

You can add hidden fields to Sugar Markets using the Form Builder. However, there currently isn't a field type to capture the URL of the previous page they visited. In many cases, the visit comes from links embedded in campaigns. When a campaign recipient clicks on a campaign link, this will be tracked and reflected on the visitor's Journey in Sugar Market.

I didn't find any Idea for tracking the previous page visited, but we'd be happy to file one if you'd like to file a support case.
