Saving section layouts in email builder 2.0 and pages?

Hi! Is there a way to save a section layout in the email and/or pages builder? For example, if we create something like in the image below (row with one image column and one text column with a colored background), is there a way to "group" this and save it in the "Advanced elements" widget or somewhere similar?

I am wondering the same for landing pages. It would save time to not have to recreate a section from scratch if it doesn't happen to be in the template I am using. Constant Contact has this ability with preset content "blocks" so I am hoping there is something similar. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi  ,

Thanks for bringing this up, that's a great idea! Currently, we don’t have the option to save sections of an email or page layout as reusable blocks directly within our system. But, you’re right, that would definitely save a ton of time!

A couple of workarounds that some of our customers find helpful include:

    1. Creating a basic base template that includes this specific block(s) you mentioned. That way, it’s ready to go whenever you need it.
    2. If you’re working with multiple templates, you might consider adding that optional block to each template. This way, it’s easier to just remove the blocks you don’t need rather than having to build them from scratch each time.

I think your idea has a lot of potentials, and it’d be great to explore it further. Could you submit a support ticket with this suggestion? That way, we can gather more details about your use case and pitch it to our product team.

Thanks again for your input. Ideas like this help us improve our product.
