Global unsubscribe vs preference page

Hi everyone, 

When creating an email SugarMarket always has the Unsubscribe link active by default.

However, from my understanding Sugar is now recommending to use preference lists & preference center instead. Is there anyway to change the "global unsubscribe link" so that it goes to the global preference center page instead?

    Hi  ,

    That's a good idea for us to change the default to the Preference Page as more and more clients adopt the changes. I did create an idea here:

    Idea# 95068 - Update the default Unsubscribe Link within Email Builder to Preference Page

    Once you're in the Email Design, you can update the merge tag using the merge tag modal to the Preference Page link instead of the previous global unsubscribe link.
