Saving email as a template

Good afternoon all, 

I was wondering if anyone could help on how to save an existing email as a template. 

This function was very clear in previous versions of Sugar however, the option has now disappeared on the three dot icon. 

Any help would be appreciated. 

  • Option to save as template still appears for me. I suspect your navigation access has changed at the role or user level. It is possible you are encountering a bug, but the nav access route seems more likely to me.

  • Hi   do you have any Dynamic Elements such as Dynamic text or Dynamic Social Buttons in your email? If you remove those elements it should get the Save as Template option back. If you haven't already, it would be good to submit a case in so we can link that over to the Issue or Idea that I believe we have for this so it doesn't lead to confusion.

  • If you have already sent the email, you can duplicate it, then save it as a template.

    You can then just delete the duplicate email you created.
