Sugar Market last click and last open reports

Hi all,

Some assistance required please!

I want to produce a report of all my contacts in my base and append fields to them to show when their last email open was and when their last email click was.

Can someone advise on how I can do this please?

I have tried but never know which data table source to use in the reports as there are so many and they are not named very well.

Thanks

James

  • Hi James,

Great question. The way the Market tables and reports are setup is it would provide you a list of all the opens and clicks for a contact and does not have a way to show only the last row of opens/clicks.

However, on the Contacts table we do have a field that you can filter off in the report by the date that it will be updated with the date the last time that recipient engaged with your company:

    Field:
    SalesfusionLastActivity

    Definition:
Last marketing activity (web, email open/click, events, landing pages)

    Located here:

    https://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Market/Sugar_Market_User_Guide/Data_Field_and_Table_Dictionaries/Data_Field_and_Table_Dictionary_Contacts_Accounts_Opportunities__Users/#Contacts

You could make a custom report on the standard viewAccountContact then simply filter the field SalesfusionLastactivity to be greater or less than a certain date or not blank, depending on what you're looking for.

This will not tell you within the report what the record last engaged on but it put a timestamp of when that user did one of those market activities listed and you can then lookup that record if needed to identify what they last engaged on or know that they've been active.

    I hope this helps!
