What's the easiest way to get (Unique) Open Rates for a group of single email campaigns?

Not sure if the campaign summary report always used total opens or if that changed at some point, but I want to get unique opens or unique open rates (unique opens / delivered) by campaign to power some offline reporting. I have access to standard and custom reports, but no Advanced Analytics.

Any ideas on how to make this easy? The Total Opens / Delivered can spike above 100% sometimes.

  • This is good advice in general, but not in-line with the way I see the issue I'm having. I do plenty of other work to account for these biases, whereever they present inconsistency in bias.

    My issue is that I need a unique count of opens via custom or standard reports so that I can get an open rate based on uniques. Dashboards for Single Emails in Market do this for the open rates, for example. For some reason the Campaign Summary report doesn't report an Open Rate and also only provides the Total Opens, rather than a unique count.
