Once the files are in place, navigate to Admin > Repair > Quick Repair and Rebuild. It is also best practice to clear your browser cache before using the new field type in Studio.

Thank you so much for answering. The issue I am facing is not related to development.
I am trying to create layout using STUDIO. When I set the Role : DEFAULT, inorder for everyone to see it. That one newly created field that I just created is not showing up.
I can do it for different roles as well for specific people, but I want it to be visible by default to everyone in the company.

I understand your problem and let us debug this in different ways.
1. Please go through this link and check if any of the solutions will fix your problem. If this does not work then can you tell me which version/edition of Sugar you are using?
2. And if you are instance is hosted on its own premises, can you please check and make sure the Sugar Instance is having correct ownership and permissions. Please go through this link to know more about updating permissions.
3. If the problem still exists, based on the version you are using you can check with if it is a bug by raising the support ticket with Sugar Support Team in the Case portal.
