Integration between Sugar Market and Microsoft Dynamics

Hi!

We have a potential customer that uses Dynamics and are interested in Sugar Market. We don't have any customers that has this combination and are wondering if anyone here has?

We would like to know more about how they work together (and what it looks like) and if it's as easy to use together as Sugar and Sugar Market is. We have seen the documentation on Sugar Support but we would like to know more.

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Emelie,

The integration to Dynamics is very similar to the integration with Sugar. You would be able to install the iFrame within Dynamics to view Sugar Market information within CRM and take actions such as adding/removing a contact from lists or adding them to nurture campaigns.

You also have the option to install custom entities for the integration to push marketing data back to in CRM for landing pages, email campaigns, events, and web activities.

We pull the same entities from Dynamics that we would pull from Sugar: Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities

A unique feature to the Dynamics integration is the ability to sync "Dynamic Lists" from CRM. Additional information on this feature is available here: https://support.sugarcrm.com/Documentation/Market/Sugar_Market_Integrations_Guide/Microsoft_Dynamics_CRM/#Static_Lists_vs_Dynamic_Lists

There are some features that we have developed for the Sugar integration that are not currently available for Dynamics, such as creating your own sync filters within the application. It is still possible to implement this with the support of our implementation or support teams.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Thanks!

  • Thank you Jana!

Two follow up questions: Is it equally easy to set up the integration to Dynamics, as it is to Sugar? Are Sugar able to assist with that, and is it the same cost as for the set up between Sugar and Sugar Market?

  • Hi Emelie,

It is a very similar process for both and you would work with our services team the same way for either, so our standard new customer setup process would apply. I recommend following up with our sales/services team to discuss any specific customer needs.

    Thanks,

    Jana
