Accounts created automatically?

Hi Clubbers!

We've noticed than in many of our customer's instances that Accounts are getting created automatically and they have the description

"Added from web analytics"

What is this and how can we turn it off?

Is this something new?

    Hi Justin, 

    This is not new, although depending on the amount of web traffic a particular customer has it is more noticeable for some customers than others. This exists so that we are able to categorize anonymous web activity coming from particular accounts and can be useful for account based marketing purposes, should you notice a lot of traffic coming from a particular entity. 

    There is not a way to turn it off, but you could filter these away in a report based on the description field.
