event error

Hey! 

My customer tried to delete one of there created events. They happened to include all the contacts in the entire database in the event and set up a welcome email.

When they tried to delete the event this came up,

Is the event deleted or is the email going to be sent out to everybody?

  • Hi Alexandra,

    It will depend on if the event is set to active or not. Typically with events you have to delete from the inside out - for example, delete the individual sessions before deleting the overarching event. I would recommend checking to see if any sessions are still set to "Active" status on the Details tab within the session. Any event sessions that are set to Inactive will not send emails.

    I have deleted everything except an email campaign, that says is already being processing. 

    that is scheduled to be sent on Monday. How can i stop that? 

    I tried to remove the include list but wasn't able to. 

  • Hi Alexandra,

    You'll need to create a support case to see if they are able to remove it from the cue. If it is not set to send until Monday, then they should be able to.
