New contacts from events

Hey!

At an event, created from event manager in market, new as well as old contacts can sign up and the new contacts are created as new leads sign in to the event.

We do not want to keep the new leads that is created as we do not have the rights to keep them, GDPR, and there is so much data that we do not want to save the history around. Is there any good way to delete these new contact being created?

  • Hi Alexandra,

One option might be to create a report based on the event sign ups and the created date, and then use that report to mass delete those records.

    Thanks,

  • Thanks fort the help!

There is no functionality that handles contacts that are part of an event but that you do not want to save?

  • You're welcome. Any records entering the system through any means would be saved. It may be possible to set up an auto-deletion report to continually remove people, but you would need a criteria for the report to look for in order to know who should stay and who should be deleted.
