Table Formatting in Landing Pages

I am working on a landing page in Sugar Market and have inserted a table.

I can't seem to select the whole table to change cell formatting.

I am trying to work on cell horizontal alignment for all cells.

The other issue I am running into is removing the borders that are displayed.

  • Hi John,

You should be able to click into one cell and hold your mouse down to drag the selection over multiple cells or the entire table. This will allow you to make changes to the alignment for all cells. The only way I know how to remove the borders displayed is by merging the cells together, otherwise it's not possible to remove the borders. However, you have the option to edit cell borders for the page tables in the legacy landing page builder. Here is a link to more information our Knowledge around the Legacy Landing Page Builder.

  • Hi John,

One other consideration when using tables is that they are typically not mobile-responsive. I recommend viewing your page on mobile to ensure it looks as you intend with the tables embedded. Depending on the look you are going for, it may be better to split your content into rows/columns vs. a table. That way they will respond appropriately when viewed on mobile. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help!

    Thanks,

    Jana

  • Do you happen to know if this is being added to the current page builder? I hate to have to do some in legacy and some in the new one. I already have to go back and forth for different emails when creating them.

  • Ah, great point. I will change the landing page to see if I can make that work. Thank you for the suggestion.

  • I do not know if it's being added, but I will be sure to pass this along to our product team. Thanks!
