Test Campaign - Optout

Hello community,

I'm facing an issue which I'm wondering if someone can help. I'm running a test with a campaign that I created. When I click on the 'Send Test', the campaign is sent to the Target List, but for some reason, as soon as the email is sent. It's marked as 'Opt-out' without the user interacting with it. I checked the admin panel and I confirm that the option "Opt-out new email addresses by default" is unchecked.

Can someone please help?

  • Hi  &  I have a case attached to issue 80012 on this topic.  Can you tell me if there is a way to edit our opt out links to require more than a single click so this does not happen?  This is becoming an issue for us as we work solely with Corporations.  Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

    Sugar's legacy Campaigns module doesn't offer much flexibility in configuration. The opt-out links are not something you can change in the UI, so for this to be changed, it would require code customization to override that endpoint or send a different opt-out URL to prevent the single-click behavior.
