Test Campaign - Optout

Hello community,

I'm facing an issue which I'm wondering if someone can help. I'm running a test with a campaign that I created. When I click on the 'Send Test', the campaign is sent to the Target List, but for some reason, as soon as the email is sent. It's marked as 'Opt-out' without the user interacting with it. I checked the admin panel and I confirm that the option "Opt-out new email addresses by default" is unchecked.

Can someone please help?

Hi Chris Raffle & Casey Mclaughlin I have a case attached to issue 80012 on this topic. Can you tell me if there is a way to edit our opt out links to require more than a single click so this does not happen? This is becoming an issue for us as we work solely with Corporations. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Mandi Lytle ,

Sugar's legacy Campaigns module doesn't offer much flexibility in configuration. The opt-out links are not something you can change in the UI, so for this to be changed, it would require code customization to override that endpoint or send a different opt-out URL to prevent the single-click behavior.
