Using a Process Definition to send email to recipient

Hi All,

When any update done to opportunity module I want to send email to user but here I have custom relationship between opportunity and user.

But when I select send message and in recipient field I select module as "Opportunity" then users relationship is not showing and fields shows disabled.

can anyone suggest how to do this?

Hi shreya dalvi ,

for this use case you can have a custom field (textfield) and a logic hook (before save) to save the email address of the user stored in your custom relationship. With this, you will be able to use the Recipient option, select module "Opportunity" and your text field will show in the list.
