SugarConnect Installation - is there a way to install directly to outlook 365 desktop?

I have the same issue!  We're using the Sugar plug-in for Outlook with the desktop versions and I've been looking for a replacement since support is going away and the plug-in is likely to start failing.

The Sugar Connect looks like a great option (and the price is reasonable) and we were ready to start a pilot but it requires you to use Office 365. 

My contact at Sugar (Rich Rodriguez) said: "pardon the oversight but Connect requires O365 so unfortunately this is not a fit right now.  If/when you go to O365 we should definitely revisit."

If your Outlook for Microsoft 365 does not have a Manage Add-Ins option, you may not have the appropriate subscription from Microsoft. We have a client that initially had a version that did not allow any add-ins to be configured in Outlook. 

Take a look at the Supported Platforms page to see if your version of Outlook for Microsoft 365 aligns with one of the supported options.

That's Correct! Sugar Connect doesn't work with the desktop versions of Outlook :-(

Works with my Desktop Outlook on macOS

Again correct - It only works with the MS Office 365 versions.  It does not work with the desktop versions:

• Outlook 2007
• Outlook 2010
• Outlook 2013
• Outlook 2016
• Outlook 2019
• Outlook 2021

Our friends in Redmond want everyone on a subscription model instead of the life-long versions of olden days.
