Field Read Only Dependent on Another Field

Hello, I understand that you want a field of type Date to be "read-only" and that this field depends on another one. What I think to me that you can do is that you create the field, then make your dependency to the other field save it. And to make it read-only, the only thing that occurs to me right now is that if you create a Role, look for your field and you can give it the read-only quality. But for that you would have to have all the people in the same role, so that they can have that field in read-only, otherwise they can see it, if you need more help with pleasure!
