My dropdown does not allow me to select some items

I have a Dropdown list but when I try to select items on it they are not selectable - I have inherited this list so maybe there is a rule somewhere stopping me selecting things ?

Hi

All I can see if a dropdown list thats has

equal($sales_stage,"Sale Closed- Lost")

in the Visible If Field

On the opportunity the Stage is correct and I can select some of the items from the dropdown but when I move down the list and click on others nothing happens.

Is it possible that there is code elsewhere that is limiting the ones I can choose - maybe related to another field selection ?
