I have a customer who requires the ability to generate a quotation containing a predefined set of products. Despite my efforts, I haven't been successful in setting this up using a BPM approach.
To simplify:
I'm aiming to establish a process where I can generate a quotation that comes with a pre-populated list of items. This process might need to be initiated when a dropdown field in the quotation is set to "standard."
Do you have any suggestions?

I don't think what you are looking to do will be possible with SugarBPM currently. I can choose to create quoted line items (QLI) related to a quote as a BPM action, but the options are severely limited and what I would consider a defect. When choosing to create a related QLI in SugarBPM, I cannot select/define any of the following critical elements because these fields aren't even listed:
What you get is effectively an empty QLI that doesn't show on the quote but does show in the list view.
I recommend opening a case with Sugar Support to file a defect. Any solution for now would have to be achieved with custom coding.
