DocMerge - How to filter the records from a collection ?

Hello, 
 
 with DocMerge, I want to know I can add a filter to a collection (I don't want to display all records of my subpanels but only specifics records according to their status) ? 
 Of course I can afteward add a condition but it's not optimal. 
 Bonus question : can I, from DocMerge, calculate during the iteration a value by setting a variable (for instance the amount of my 3 lines) or do I have to use a sugarlogic with a conditionnal rollup sum ?

 Regarding your first question about filtering, this is possible as explained on this documentation:

 As an example, I took the Account Profile sample tamplate from https://support.sugarcrm.com/Knowledge_Base/Doc_Merge/Sample_Document_Templates/ and removed the sections for all subpanels except the one for Opportunities, which should look like this: 
 
 Opportunities

Name

Sales Stage

Expected Close Date

Assigned User

Probability

{#opportunities} {if sales_stage=="Prospecting"} {name}

{sales_stage}

{date_closed}

{assigned_user_name}

{probability}{endif}{/opportunities}

This will only show the Opportunities linked to that Account with Sales Stage = Prospecting. 
 
 About the ability to add variables to perform calculations on the template, this is not an option right now so you would need to create rollup sum fields on the main module.
