Reports: Permission Restrictions Error Message

We have seen some other customers encounter permission errors like this in reports, and in each scenario we've been able to find an explanation. However, each explanation so far has been specific to the nuances of each occurrence.

I have a user that has experienced a similar issue after upgrading to version 14.0.

Please can you advise what the resolution was for this.

The most likely cause is that one or more modules or fields used in the report are restricted via role permissions for the user seeing the error. In older versions of Sugar, you could build reports on these entities but role permissions were not fully respected, which is why you are likely seeing the issue after upgrading to the current release.
