Add Related Record - Task | Not Showing

I have a PD with the Target Module for Calls, with a Call Type X. From there depending on the Call Outcome Type, I want to create a Task for the Record Owner.  The Tasks are not appearing at all in the Task Module or related to Contact or Call. What could be wrong?

    Your setup for the process definition is configured properly assuming that (1) the contacts are added as invitees on the call (the relationship you selected is for the invitees only, not the flex relate or standalone contact relationship field) and (2) the contact has a field value that matches your filter criteria shown in the screen shot. If that matches what you expect and you're not seeing the task get created, do you see the process trigger as expected under Admin > Process Management? If so, does the process go to that action as expected?

  • thanks for confirming some of those details. The contact was added as an invitee on the call, but do they also have to accept as attending? We don't plan on sending the invites out through Sugar, we're using the Calls as an internal maintenance tool instead. Does that affect this?

    Additionally, the process trigger does appear under Admin > Process Management, but the process does not continue on to that action.

    The contact does not need to accept the invite to validate the relationship. If the process is triggering when you expect, that's a good sign. Does the process hang or go a different route? Please share any details and configurations around where the process fails to proceed to the action creating the related record.
