Issue connecting inbound email to office 365, might be a DNS related

I moved out of my darta center and am no longer hosting a DNS server of my own. My domain is now being forwarded to the VPS host where most of our servers are being run. When I did that inbound email quit working in sugar and when I verify the settings and try to test it says "Please check your settings and try again" without any indication of what it wants me to change.I updated a CNAM and MX record there so Microsoft is happy, but now Sugar is not. 

Sending outbound works fine.
