PA Notification when process is assigned to a user

Hi

So, I´m learning this Process Author thingy Really neat. One question I have, when Process Author assignes a process to a user (for example, a user gets a form he/she needs to approve or reject), PA does not seem to notify that user (no email nor in Notifications). Is my understanding right?

I know that we have these Dashlets, like this one:

But that requires the approver to keep on monitoring this dashlet.

    Hi Kristjan,

    You are correct. There is no built-in notification, but you could certainly build that into a process definition using a process email template and a Send Message event near the Activity element. In my opinion, any person who may need to perform an approval, etc. should have and monitor a Process Author dashboard like you mention and as explained here: Creating a Process Author Dashboard.
