Retricting user access to Excel Plug-In

Hello guys!

Is there a way to restrict the access for the Excel Plug-In, for example only users with a certain role can make changes using the plug-in?

    Hi Robert,

    Not directly for the plugin, however you could limit the access for those users in General in Administration > Role Management, either for Reports or for particular modules or both. Depending on the level of access you want to grant you could prevent all access or just to access to edit data from the plugin. Those changes will be system wide, so the users would also not be able to access/edit from within Sugar. 

    Would that work for your use-case?
