Is "Supervisor" the same as "Reports to"?

Hi once again.

Ok, easy one: I´m working in Process Author (see left side of picture) and want to set the criteria to 50m AND that "reports to" (field from the user profile) is a certain person.  Now, the field "reports to" isn´t in the drop down box. Only "current user," "supervisor," and "record owner." So, is "supervisor" in fact the same person as "reports to"?

And another one related: Is "record owner" the one who created the record?

I´m assuming that since there is a choice for "current user" in Process Author...

Thanks

KGM

P.s. my screen "handwriting" sucks...

  • Kristjan,

You are correct, Supervisor is the same as "Reports to".  The current user will be the user who triggered the Process Definition and the record owner is the user who is in the "Assigned To" field.

    Hope that helps,

    Lori

  • Awesome Lori F - this is starting to make some sense

Oh, thanks for clearing the "current user" - I thought that was the assigned user. Hmmm. So there is no choice for record creating user, I guess.

  • Kristjan,

I'd like to correct what I said earlier on the "Current User".  The Current User refers to the last process user who has been defined in the process definition. If no process user has been previously defined, the Current User will be the user who is in the Assigned To field of the targeted Sugar record.

    Kind Regards,

    Lori
