Changing User's Name

We have a user who has legally changed their name and our IT department has changed their email to match.  Do I just edit/change their name and email under User Management?  Or do I need to create a whole new profile and make the current one inactive?  Or is there better option?

  • One additional "caution" - Leave the old email in the User Profile and mark the new one as the primary.  That way you will still have the association and if an email is archived under the old address it will be assigned to the user with the new name and email...
