Customer Breakthrough Awards: Submission Guidelines and Agreements Explained

Every year, we're blown away by the stories of success and innovation we hear from our customers. It's inspiring to see how different businesses leverage Sugar to achieve incredible results, and we believe that those stories deserve a spotlight. That's what the Customer Breakthrough Awards are all about!

However, we know that participation always comes accompanied by guidelines and fine print, and they can sometimes seem daunting. Let’s demystify the “Submission Guidelines and Agreements” found in the nomination form and show you how this is an opportunity you shouldn't miss.

Submission Guidelines and Agreements

  1. You must be a Sugar customer or partner in good standing to be considered for an award - It’s our way of saying thank you to our loyal community.
  2. All required fields must be completed – the more details you provide, the higher the chances of winning an award.
  3. If you'd like to be considered for multiple awards, please submit a separate form for each category - If your company has multiple success stories and you wish to be considered for more than one award, go for it! Just submit a separate form for each.
  4. You will be required to provide a high-resolution company logo and a professional headshot to be used in public materials as part of your submission. If submitting for a joint award, please provide materials for both the customer and partner parties. - This helps us celebrate your success in style and correctly represent you and your company in all promotional materials regarding the awards.
  5. You will be required to provide a company boilerplate and URL approved for public media references as part of your submission - Got a snazzy company description and a website? Share them! We want everyone to know who the stars are.
  6. By pressing submit, you agree to be considered for other relevant reference asks, such as but not limited to case studies, testimonials, analyst interviews, and more - By submitting, you're not just being considered for an award. It’s an opportunity for you to share your journey and successes more broadly, in case studies, testimonials, or analyst interviews, all subject to your availability and interest. Imagine the exposure!
  7. By pressing submit, you agree to let Sugar use your organization's name and logo publicly - We know you're proud of your achievements with Sugar. By submitting, you allow us to sing your praises by using your organization's name and logo. All for a good cause – celebrating YOU!
  8. If you are a Partner or Sugar employee submitting a customer for an award on their behalf, please answer the subsequent questions accordingly. Please note that the customer must give you express consent to be nominated for this award and that in doing so, also agrees to item 6 and 7 above - If a Partner or a Sugar teammate is nominating you, they need your thumbs-up, to make sure nothing is done without proper review and approval.
  9. A team at Sugar will review submissions and deem in their sole discretion who will be the award winners - The decision-making? It's in good hands. Our dedicated team at Sugar reviews every story and selects winners with care and admiration for the work you do.

If you were nominated in the past or even won an award, don’t hold back. Every year is a new chance to share how you've grown and achieved even more with Sugar.
