We developed a predefined filter by following this guide:

And while it works as it should in the web version, it doesn't seem to be working in the mobile version, either in the default SugarCRM app or in a SDK build. As the filter is applied in a record.php file, theoretically it should apply to both web and mobile views. Has anyone successfully built a predefined filter that works in a mobile view?
