The intelligence pane has been around for years and we still cannot have contextual charts without coding.
A contextual chart would be based on a report with a "run time" filter that would be filled by the ID of the record that is being displayed.
For instance, on the "Bastille Sarl" account record page, I want to be able to add a dashlet linked to a report that would calculate the average amount per sales stage of all opportunities linked to that account.
This is useful in many scenarios, much more than the out of the box dashlets (opps, cases, etc).
