Sugar has the ability to set recurring meetings, but I can't seem to find a way to set a recurring Task.
I can build something custom if needed, but just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something...
thanks,
Francesca

Looks like there are multiple "Ideas" closed with no intention to implement.

Yes, unfortunatelly there are multiple ideas closed that way ; this is why, at any developper hours, I suggested that advanced partners / customers should be more involved in the roadmap to also include basic features to any releases, features that are relevant for many of us (and I am sure that there are many customers that will never fill in a case so the priority will never grow).
Apparently if there are sufficient people filing Cases related to an Idea that they have no plan to implement they will revisit that plan.

I've opened a case to be added to the list. We have a new user and they came from a company that used Salesforce and they didn't see the capability in Sugar...

I would agree to that approach/logic for some ideas, but recurring tasks is such a basic common sense requirement that I'd expect it to be added asap, no need for customers to vote.
As Frédéric Rinaldi mentioned, product team needs to get more customers and experienced partners involved, because it's obvious these decisions are being made by people not using SugarCRM as extensively hence we are still missing basic features after all these years.
Sorry but has to be said sometimes.
