Recurring tasks

Indeed it should be standard, being an activity record should have similar recurring options as do Calls and Meetings, seems to have been missed.

I have sometimes used a combination of custom fields and BPM to achieve some requirements, but I'm sure you know how.

Thank you for confirming that it's not OOTB. 

My users are working around it by mis-using Meetings.

I'll put in an "Idea" in Sugar's Cases portal. Maybe others could do the same if they thing that Recurring Tasks are a good thing to have .

For those who don't yet know you can put in a Case requesting that an Idea be created/linked. That way you can keep tabs on if/when the idea is accepted and worked on.
