We would like to limit the language for the SugarCRM GUI to English. There is an item called "Languages" in the admin area.
However, the selection there affects not only the interface language but also the values in the "Language preference" field.
Can we decouple this, i.e. set the interface language to English and still offer English, French, Italian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese etc. in the Language Preference drop down list? This is necessary for target list creation, among other things.
We hope this will reduce the amount of maintenance required for drop-down lists and improve performance.
Has anyone implemented this yet?
