Add "Status" to a Dashboard List View Custom Filter

Question

Hi. I'd like to add "Status" to the list of options available when creating a custom filter on a dashboard list view. 
 
 Selecting "Create" gives me this list.

Any guidance on how to add to this list would be appreciated.

Hi James Kinnersley To have the field "status" showing up as an option you'll need to add it to the Search view for the Service Request SRU module in Studio. 
 Take my example as I've added the field "description" for Contacts module: 
 After Save and Deploy it shows as an option the Dashlet's filter:
