We have an automated process that adds tasks to leads when they are created. The challenge here - when we get multiple of the same lead and want to merge, it consolidates everything into one lead but then we have multiple of the same task.
I'm wondering if it is possible to merge leads and only have the tasks from one lead carry through to the final copy of the lead.

Sugar's merge capabilities will always merge all relationships to the surviving record. Our Upsert Deduplicate plug-in allows you establish rules on how to manage child relationships like the Leads > Tasks relationship when automatically merging records. You can choose to keep all child relationships, ignore all, or explicitly include/exclude relationships.
