Email Notification for assigning record for user

Hi!

I just want to ask how I can setup email notification for admin every time there is new assigned record for the user?

Ex. The admin assigned a record for user101. (Expectation: an automatic email will sent to Admin account to notify about the assignment process).

Kindly help.

Hello Russel Vasquez,

By default, Sugar can be configured to send notifications to the user that is assigned the record (user101 in your case).
This setting can be seen in Admin > System Email Settings > Email Options

If you want to send an email to the user that is editing the record you could use a Process Definition that:

- Gets triggered when the Assigned To changes.
- Have a Message Event that sends an email to the "User that last modified the record".

If the use case is to send the notifications to the Admin user no matter who assigned the record, that can be set in the Message Event by selecting a fixed user.
